TRW Conekt accredited to RTCA/DO-160F and MIL STD 461F

TRW Conekt has achieved accreditation to RTCA/DO-160F and MIL STD 461F demonstrating continued improvement and investment in testing capabilities.

RTCA/DO-160F, the standard for environmental and EMC test requirements for civil aviation equipment and MIL STD 461F, the USA EMC test requirements for military equipment, are essential to the aviation and military testing community. 

RTCA/DO-160F and MIL STD 461F accreditations demonstrate the high level of understanding of the specific requirements needed to obtain these accreditations.  The renewal of procedures, equipment and training are integral to the standards to ensure the requirements are met and exceeded.

As part of the continued development of testing standards, Dr Luke Turnbull one of Conekt’s EMC experts, will be attending the EUROCAE (European Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment) working group 14 meeting on 15/16 September in Paris.  As part of this group, EMC, HIRF and lightning testing issues are discussed with industry experts inviting open debate of current trends and developments.
