Conekt has been developing electronic products for the automotive industry for over 40 years. This rich, real world experience has enabled Conekt to develop general purpose ECUs, perfectly suited for vehicle development, prototyping programmes and for low and medium-volume production.
Conekt offers a selection of standard ECUs, the C-Flex range, which caters for many automotive requirements, from very demanding processing down to low cost CAN gateways. There are currently three ECUs in the range, all offering different capabilities and form factors.
C-Flex Lite is the most compact of the range, boasting 2 CAN ports, analogue and digital inputs and a high quality audio output. It is therefore ideally suited to function as a CAN gateway.
C-Flex Multi is capable of processing many different communication formats and has a large number of digital and analogue inputs and outputs. It is therefore suitable for numerous applications including a more advanced gateway and, because it can control relatively large currents, as an actuator controller.
C-Flex Max is an extremely flexible FPGA based platform suitable for very high bandwidth demands, including image processing. To complement this capability, the ECU has numerous plug-in options that enable a multitude of communication types including USB, Bluetooth and Ethernet. It can incorporate two image sensors for stereo image processing.
All three ECUs enable the rapid integration of new features into technology or vehicle programmes and can be supplied with software drivers and appropriate support, significantly reducing development effort and therefore project duration. Conekt can also assist with the development of a customer specific application, including control algorithms and software as required.
The C-Flex range has been validated to automotive standards.
Conekt also offers electronics design services to develop, test and manufacture bespoke ECUs for bespoke applications.
